The Delaware State Fair kicked off tonight with the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam as the first of several Entertainment acts for the 10 day fair. This state of the art race track was the perfect location for the six Monster Jam Trucks to compete with a brand new stage and sound system along with two JUMBO TRONS for the fans to watch.

The first event for the night was the wheelie contest as Grave Digger won it with a high score of 22 followed by Monster Mutt. Morgan Kane was impressive in his new ride as he showed great skills driving the Chop top Mercury. Next was Racing and all races were photo finish worthy. Dan Evans took the UTI Racing Championship with a big victory over fast looser Monster Mutt. Evans was filling in for Chad Fortune who is normally behind the wheel of Captain America. That ride tonight made it Dan's eighteenth Monster Jam Truck that he has piloted over his career. Here are the racing results.

Round one: Grave Digger def. Stone Crusher, Ironman def. War Wizard, and Captain America def. Monster Mutt.

Semi Finals: Monster Mutt (FAST LOOSER) defeated Grave Digger and Captain America defeated Ironman.

Finals Captain America defeated Monster Mutt.

Freestyle was awesome and a special treat was watching the eighteen year old Stevie Simms drive his Dad's Stone Crusher Monster Jam truck. The youngster scored a 19 to take the lead in front of War Wizard and Ironman before Monster Mutt took it away with a 21. That score would stay all the way until Grave Digger wowed the crowd with some sick air and awesome control to win his second competition of the night with a score of 24. Here are the scores for wheelies and Freestyle
