Friday 7:30pm

Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam brought to you by Cricket Wireless, Price Chopper and Missouri Lottery kicked off tonight at the Sprint Center. The crowd was awesome and had a great time watching eight awesome Monster Trucks compete in three events as well as the performance by the Fearless Flores family in the Sphere of Fear.

The night started off with the wheelie contest as veteran Mark Hall wowed the judges and the fans with two picture perfect wheelies to win the first event of the night. Hall's score was a 23 which was three points higher than runner ups Grinder and Grave Digger. From there Raminator's team mate Rammunition raced his way to the UTI Championship round only to defeat Raminator by inches as they cross the finish line. Every race tonight was decided by watching the instant replay which tells you how good the competition that is here this weekend. Freestyle was last on the list and it came down to a tie between Bad Habit and Grinder. Both Trucks had scores of 23 and the bonus judge was finally needed. The score given by the bonus judge would decide who would take home tonight's Freestyle trophy and with a one point difference Advance Auto Parts Grinder took the win. Both trucks were so deserving but there can only be one winner! Here are tonight's results for Wheelies, Racing and Freestyle.

Saturday 2:00pm

Another exciting afternoon for Monster Jam! The Sprint Center was rocking and ready for competition between eight of the best monster trucks and it was fierce. Raminator who was last nights wheelie winner tried to retain his title but was taken out by Advance Auto Parts Grinder in the closest contest thus far. Grinder took the win by one point over Monster Mutt, Grave Digger and Bad Habit who all tied with 21 as Raminator was next in line with a 20.

The race to the UTI Championship round was another nail biting photo finish event that was well anticipated. It was no surprise to see one of the Hall Bros. trucks in the finals for the second time but for Monster Mutt it was spectacular. Monster Mutt had to beat El Toro Loco and Grave Digger to make his way to the Championship and if that wasn't enough he would face last nights winner Rammunition. In the finals race instant replay was again needed to determine the winner and by a dog's tongue Monster Mutt won the UTI championship.

For the second time this weekend it came down to two Monster Trucks in the freestyle competition who by a flip of a coin could have been the winner today. First is Bad Habit as Joe Sylvester takes another second to Grinder after loosing by one point as it was last night. Bad habit had an excellent freestyle along with his second place in the wheelie contest. I look for Joey to break loose tonight and grab his first win. Grinder on the other hand has taken home three trophies for the weekend with two more shows to go. Grave Digger thus far for the weekend has been shut out of a victory and with Porter sitting in the top twenty in the power rankings that could slip away if he doesn't get a win tonight. Here are today's results.

Saturday 7:30pm

Monster Jam roared back into Sprint Center for the second show Saturday night and right from the gate things took off fast and furious. In the wheelie portion of the show it was a close battle as both El Toro Loco and Monster Mutt grabbed equal scores and had to settle into sharing the hot seat. That seat was kept until John Seasock would stand the peoples truck on its tail gate to bring the large Kansas City crowd to its feet. Grinder would post a 22 that was good enough to beat back both Becky and Whit.

Racing would see the breakage of three trucks break early on turning a 8 field truck bracket into a 5 truck truck shootout. The remaining trucks would battle through the reduced field to find Monster Mutt winning the UTI Racing Championship over Grinder. Freestyle would see the return of Grave Digger and the field was all up to the challenge. El Toro Loco would set the bar high with a great score of 18 that brought Sprint Center to its feet, but it would be short lived as the other Monster Jam competitors would rise to swipe the seat away from Becky in El Toro Loco. Whit Tarelton would jump into the seat after scoring a solid 20 on the night and hope to hold on to the highly sought after Double Down trophy. John Seasock in the peoples truck (Advance Auto Parts Grinder) had other plans, throwing down a great run that left the fans screaming in the isles it looked as if Grinder was set to grab a second win on the night, Enter Grave Digger and Gary Porter. This was the freestyle of the weekend to this point, Gary came out driving with a chip on his shoulder and would bring the house down with an amazing 2 plus minute freestyle to make sure the Grave Digger fans would go home happy. Gary would post a score of 26 to bring the trophy home to Kill Devil Hills.

Sunday 2:00pm

Sunday would see the sun rise on the Kansas City Sprint Center for the fourth and final show following a great weekend of Monster Jam competition. The day started with Team Missouri taking the Cricket Wireless Quad War trophy over the boarder rival Kansas. Wheelies seemed to set the table for an great afternoon of competition that would see the "The Peoples Truck" Advance Auto Parts Grinder lift the cup with a score of 27.

Racing would see the field bear down to two great trucks that had phenominal weekends. When the dust settled at Sprint Center the winner would be Rammunition and his HEMI powered Dodge Ram monster truck. Taking the crown by beating back Advance Auto Parts Grinder.

With the afternoon coming to a close it was down to Freestyle to finally send the big crowd into a screaming time. Great runs from several trucks were posted but it was Joe Sylvester in Bad Habit who laid down a run for the ages. Bad Habit hit all of the obstacles several times gaining HUGE air as well as a reverse move over the Jackrabbit Stack in the center of the floor capping a run that has the crowd in awe. Bad Habit would have to sit through the Legendary Grave Digger and Gary Porter as the final truck. In the end Gary posted a great score of 25, which was 2 short of Bad Habits 27 giving Joe Sylvester his first trophy of the weekend.
