Friday 7:30 PM:
Lee O’Donnell marched into the Bradley Center with a fresh Iron Man truck and all his Jersey swagger stating that he wanted to make a clean sweep of the all the events during the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam brought to you by Wolverine and definitely lived up to his words. But the Iron Man driver would have to overcome several competitors who put up a good fight to try to take home a win.
Right after introductions, there was a cloud of smoke surrounding the Heavy Hitter truck. After his crew checked it out, they found that a broken rod put a hole in the block of the motor and they would be out of all competitions. This caused a mix up in the order of all contests during the night but O’Donnell was unfazed in Iron Man and took and easy win in wheelies.
Racing brought on more drama as the Monster Energy crew checked out the truck after wheelies only to find that there was a transmission problem. The team dumped in some Lucas Oil Automatic Transmission Fluid and crossed their fingers that it was just low on fluid. However this wasn’t the case and after the truck came back from a loss to Iron Man in round one of racing, it was determined that the transmission was shot and had to be replaced. Meanwhile, Iron Man marched through the bracket and took out Incinerator in the final.
But Ryan Rice in Incinerator felt something wasn’t right with the rear end of his truck and sure enough had to work on the rear axle during a quick break in the show. So with the Monster Energy team and Incinerator team wrenching there wasn’t much downtime during Advance Auto Parts Service is Our Best Part Freestyle. The crowd was excited as the trucks performed on the floor but they got really rowdy when Iron Man hit the floor and floated around the floor catching big air. But the show wasn’t over yet. After Iron Man rolled into the pits, the Monster Energy truck suddenly came to life and launched to the floor. After several impressive hits, Damon Bradshaw tried to maneuver the truck in a quick turn and it unfortunately ended up on its lid. Bradshaw was so disappointed that he marched back to the truck after it was flipped over and got back in to attempt another run just for the fans. The truck fired right up and made a couple more impressive hits before losing power due to loss of fluids. While Bradshaw still felt that he had let down the fans, they were excited by his work on the floor and gave him and the victor Lee O’Donnell a standing ovation to end the show.

Saturday 2:00PM:
After staying at the building until three in the morning, the Monster Energy crew finally had the truck back together and finally resolved all their transmission issues that plagued them during the Friday night show. With their issues resolved, that means that a five truck field would be in action at the Bradley Center for the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam brought to you by Wolverine and Rogan’s Shoes.
Fresh off repairs, Damon Bradshaw piloted Monster Energy to a slim win in the wheelie contest barely beating out Lee O’Donnell in Iron Man. But O’Donnell would use that narrow defeat as momentum to take out Monster Energy in the semi-final round of racing. Iron Man would then roll easy through the finals to take the victory in the UTI Racing Finals over Rap Attack.
But the most excitement of the night came during Advance Auto Parts Service is Our Best Part Freestyle. With each truck that hit the floor, the action kept getting hotter with higher flying leaps and quicker turns. Iron Man really upped the ante with his run setting a new score to beat of 23 with 4 flights of big air and even a slap wheelie, a difficult move to complete in any arena. But Bradshaw was determined to keep Iron Man from doubling down and hit the floor with authority skying high off the back of the race land and awkwardly landing on the rear tires. This awkward landing caused the left rear planetary to lock up reducing the Monster Energy machine’s mobility. Even though he kept trying, Bradshaw couldn’t any air or speed out of the truck and ended his run five seconds early relinquishing the freestyle title and the double down to Iron Man and O’Donnell.

Saturday 7:30 PM:
With two Double Downs under his belt, Iron Man driver Lee O’Donnell was confident going into this evening’s show but had a seed of doubt in his mind. He knew that Damon Bradshaw’s Monster Energy truck was finally 100% and that the entire field would put up strong competition during the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam brought to you by Wolverine and Rogan’s Shoes in the Bradley Center.
Dave Rappach in Rap Attack wowed the crowd as the first truck out in the wheelie competition but would only be bested by Monster Energy’s in air pause after a quick launch off the ramps. Iron Man was the last truck to run, but didn’t have quite the air of Monster Energy and Bradshaw took home his second wheelie win of the weekend.
But O’Donnell fired back in racing taking out Monster Energy in round one and then also in the UTI Racing Final after Monster Energy came back as fast loser to defeat Incinerator. With that win, Iron Man made a clean sweep of racing for the entire weekend and was working his way towards another Double Down.
In order to claim another victory, O’Donnell was piloting Iron Man to big air and a slap wheelie. The crowd was wowed, but reluctant as Monster Energy rolled to floor. The truck had not yet completed an entire freestyle run over the course of the weekend and no one was sure if it would make it or not. But after hearing the sweet throttle rhythm bellow from the headers, they knew that the truck was ready to rock. Bradshaw launched a wheelie first, then caught big air off the jammer stack turning it into an impressive slap wheelie. He then cross threaded the course tearing it up and bringing the fans to their feet with an extra full minute of freestyle after the clock stopped. Bradshaw was clearly the winner and also ecstatic that the Monster Energy machine was in one piece.
