Friday 7:30 p.m.

It was a double-down night for Gary Porter and Grave Digger as the black and green truck proved again it was Bad to the Bone for 30years. With tacky track condtions Grave Digger was the only truck that was able to do a decent donut. Grave Digger was also the truck to beat in racing as Porter proved he could still cut a good light.

The night began with the Advance Auto Parts Wheelie Competition. R.B. Moler, a nominee for Rookie of the year in 2011 scored an 18 to give him the lead over Jay Snyder in his new Illuminator truck. Whit Tarleton drove Monster Mutt to a score of 22 for his wheelie and what looked like a sure win until Porter took Grave Digger up and over the cars with near perfect wheelies over both set of cars scoring a 25.

The wheelie win got the momentum going for the night as Grave Digger defeated XXX, driven by Chrissy Moler, and Monster Mutt to earn the UTI Racing Final. Grave Digger earned a bye run in round one of racing for his Wheelie Competition win.

Both BMX and FMX riders were featured in the second half of the event. Each team went out giving the fans lots to cheer about but it was the combined Jam Session that brought the house to it's feet.

The Advance Auto Parts,Service is our Best Part, Freestyle brought lots of action with West Virginia Mountaineer holding on to the number one slot. Monster Mutt driven by Whit Tarleton had a good run going but rolled the truck with more than 40 seconds remaining. That earned Mutt a low score of just 16. While the score was unpopular with many fans who disagreed with the score, it was fair given the time left on the clock.

Then came Grave Digger. Gary Porter proved he was a driver who cut his teeth in arenas and not stadiums as he drove the truck hard using the brakes as much as he did the throttle to take the 30 year legend to the win with a score of 25.

Saturday 7:30 p.m.

Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Greensboro Saturday Night

For the second night in a row Gary Porter Does the Double Down driving Grave Digger. The sold out crowd witnessed an incredible event with Monster Mutt giving Digger a run for his money. The Advance Auto Part Monster Jam competition gets harder each week as the trucks and drivers get things dialed in for the new season.

The Wheelie Competition saw Krissy Moler take the lead early with a score of 24. The rookie lady driver surprised everyone with her high flying action. She held on to the lead until Monster Mutt took the win by one point. Even the Might Grave Digger could not get the big air out of his wheelie the way Krissy and XXX did.

Racing went to Grave Digger who beat Jay Snider in Illuminator by inches. Snider’s new truck is something to see as it lights up the arena. The truck not only looks good but has the power to take on the big boys.

Racing was not kind to XXX driven by Krissy Moler. She was set to go against Predator in round one but a problem with the ignition interrupt radio prevented the truck from competition.

Fans stood most of the night as action led to non stop excitement. FMX was awesome as was BMX. J.J. Romans performed a perfect back flip on his dirt bike. One this fans didn’t know until later was that Romans did the back flip with a flat tire. It is not easy to ride a dirt bike on the hard North Carolina clay let alone do it with a flat.

The combined Taco Bell BMX/FMX Jam Session again brought the crowd out of their seats and tied with Grave Diggers Freestyle as the most exciting moments of the event.
