Friday Night

The local Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam fans filled the Dow Event Center in for the first of a three show weekend. This was a first for many of the big truck that before this night never played in Saginaw, Michigan. This night had a little bit of everything. Drama, excitement, upsets, and even a cliffhanger. First time in this venue, El Toro Loco turn in a great showing in Monster Jam Racing. Making it all the way to the UTI Finals to face Grave Digger after being declared fast loser in round one. In the end the Black and Green Truck from Kill Devil Hills would go on to victory. Also turning in a great performances was the Advance Auto Parts Grinder with a 27 in the wheelie competition. Little Miss Dangerous is High Maintenance dominated doughnuts with an impressive 26 points. The fans loved the local truck driven by Jocelyn Perrin from Coopersville Michigan. In Freestyle Grave Digger was off to a great start until he blew an engine rod and was unable to continue, opening the door for Monster Mutt to win free style with 24 points. The big question is weather the pitt crew of the most famous truck in Monster Jam history can get a new engine sent up from Chicago and installed by tomorrow morning. The Saginaw fans loved all the action that played out inside the Dow Event Center and will not soon forget all that took place in their backyard.

Saturday 2PM

There was non-stop action inside the Dow Event Center as the Saturday afternoon Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam got underway. Team Grave Digger worked all through the night putting a new engine in the big truck after blowing an engine rod during the Friday night show. The black and green wrecking machine then went on to tear up the doughnut competition with a perfect score of 30 points. High Maintenance also did a great job in doughnuts receiving 29 points. However at the end of her run, the truck also blew an engine rod right through the oil pan, taking her out of the Saturday night competition. Grave Digger then went on to win Freestyle with an impressive 24 points. Advance Auto Parts Grinder dominated Monster Jam racing as John Seasock went on to drive the new truck towards victory. The fans in Saginaw screamed with joy as Grinder came out on top in the wheelies receiving 23 points from our judges.

Saturday Night

The last show in Saginaw lifted the roof off of the Dow Event Center as the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam fans cheered on the line up of spectacular trucks on display.
This was show number three of a three-show weekend. In the end, the night would belong to Advance Auto Parts Grinder. Once again the truck went all the way to the championship in Monster Jam Racing. Grinder turned in a great showing in wheelies and Freestyle winning both of those competitions as well. When it came to doughnuts, Grave Digger once again rose to the occasion thrilling the fans with a perfect 30 points. Full Boar driven by Ed Eckert was a last minute hero filling in for Little Miss Dangerous who was unable to compete because of a broken engine rod from an earlier show. Full Boar had a great night making it to the finals in racing and coming in second in Wheelies. The local hero went over big with the Saginaw fans. Everyone involved with the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam had a wonderful time here in this good city. The whole team is already looking forward to next years show.
