Friday Night 7:30
The first of three events began at the Macon Centreplex Coliseum Friday night with a pumped up crowd ready for action. From the very beginning the action was awesome and non-stop. Monster Mutt driven by Joe Miller won the wheelie contest over the five other competitors. Joe said the Mutt was going to dominate. With that comment the challenge was out and the other drivers answered the call.
Monster Mutt went out in round one of racing but did manage to come back into the semi final round as the fast loser. He raced against Grave Digger in the semi finals but Pablo Huffaker in Grave Digger was too fast cutting a good light and making some great turns.
Marc McDonald raced into the UTI finals against Grave Digger. Pablo cut a good light but slid going into the final turn giving McDonald all he needed to make it to the Advance Auto Parts finish line first.
Steve Direnzo, world famous stuntman and movie coordinator began the second half with a leap from the rafters of the Coliseum while on fire. Fans went nuts when he landed on the airbag below and after the fire being extinguished he came to the mic for an interview.
Next was The Air Force Reserve Donut Competition. Each truck came out to show what they could do on the concrete floor. As the competition heated up a couple of trucks took their donut into a cyclone. The high scores kept getting even higher: Monster Mutt 24, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 25, Grave Digger got a 26 but nobody beat El Toro Loco who’s :45 non-stop Cyclone earned him a winning 27.

The second Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam event of the weekend began with the Advance Auto Parts Party in the Pits. Fans came out to see the trucks and meet drivers. They were also treated to the music of the rocking Air Force Reserve Band.
The afternoon began with a strong showing from Aaron Basl driving the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles truck to a win in the Wheelie Competition. The first of four competitions saw both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Monster Mutt driven by Joe Miller tie with scores of 24. The fourth judge gave the win to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by one point. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles then went on to race his way to a win in the UTI Race Championship against teammate Grave Digger, driven by Pablo Huffaker.
The donut contest was very close with a battle between El Toro Loco and Grave Digger. El Toro Loco made 34 revolutions and Grave Digger turned in 28 as the fans went wild.
Monster Mutt blew a blower belt and was doubtful for the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Freestyle competition. The Monster Mutt crew worked hard to get things ready and at the last minute the Mutt was able to come back. Joe Miller drove the truck to a score of 24 in freestyle. Pablo Huffaker again brought fans one great Freestyle with action non-stop for more than :60. His score of 27 gave him the win for the second event in a row.
Sprocket kept fans entertained with his crazy antics raging from dancing to attempting to be included in the incredible Fire Fall of Steve Direnzo. Direnzo holds the record for the highest fire fall on the planet. Sprocket decided at the last minute he wanted no part of that kind of excitement.

UTI Race Finals:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles beat Grave Digger
By Joe LoweSaturday Night 7:30
The third and final event of the weekend at the Centerplex in Macon, GA began with the weekend's rivals all announcing they were going for a double down. Pablo said the big winner was going to be Grave Digger, Aaron Basl said Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the truck to beat and Marc McDonald was determined to drive El Toro Loco to the win.
Lenny Kuilder and Joe Miller remained quiet but it was obvious they too were determined to drive into the winners circle. Fans could feel the excitement as they fed off the energy of the drivers and crew.
The first event was the wheelie contest with the big trucks taking it up and over on two. Grave Digger blew out a rear end and immediately began to repair the damage in order to return for the second half.
Marc McDonald drove El Toro Loco to a big race win over Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. His race was hard fast and turns were smooth giving him an edge at the end of the race. Marc then came out to celebrate with fans. He brought a Monster Jam: Path of Destruction WII game to an El Toro Loco fan in the stands.
The second half began with Steve Direnzo doing his amazing 100 foot freefall while on fire. Steve successfully landed into the special landing mat placed on the track. The fans went wild.
Grave Digger did not make it back for the donut contest and was doubtful for the Advance Auto Parts Service Is Our Best Part Freestyle. High scores in Freestyle from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Monster Mutt and El Toro Loco brought the Macon crowd to their feet over and over again. At the end of the night's event, just when officials were about to name El Toro Loco the Freestyle winner, Grave Digger fired up. The truck passed inspection by officials and it was game on. Pablo drove Grave Digger to a big win in freestyle scoring 28 just two shy of a perfect score. It was hard for anyone to believe that just minutes before he won freestyle the truck was being repaired by the very guy who driving the wheels off.
