Saturday 1:00Cleveland ROCKS! A nearly sold out crowd was on hand to watch eight of the best trucks on The Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Tour. Grave Digger swept the field in Wheelies, Racing and Freestyle! Carl Van Horn back for the second year in a row to the Quicken loans Arena but this time driving the Black and Green Wrecking Machine. Last year Carl was driving the Excaliber monster truck and he was dominate then as he is now.
The day started off with the wheelie competition as Grave Digger took the win with a score of 28. Spike, Tazmanian Devil, and Brutus tied for second with scores of 20 as the field of trucks tightened up. Shock Therapy was next with a score of 19 followed by Excaliber with a 17 and Rap Attack with a score of 16. Bad Habit rounded out the field of trucks with a 13.
Racing was tight as the first round of eight trucks battled for the Semi Finals. Brutus defeated Spike as Shock Therapy beat his team mate Excaliber by a full truck length. Tazmanian Devil continued her streak by taking out Bad Habit, a home town favorite while Grave Digger advanced over Rap Attack. In the Semi Finals Shock therapy defeated Brutus by a foot and Grave Digger took out Tazmanian Devil in the closest race of the day. Grave Digger then went on to beat Shock Therapy in the UTI racing championship. This was the first step to possibly taking the Double Down Trophy from Grave Digger.
Freestyle was awesome as Grave Digger wowed the fans and judges with a huge jump off of the big freestyle stack in the center of the arena flattening both both tires and breaking the front end of the truck. The judges gave Grave Digger a 28 Beating second place runner up Tazmanian Devil who scored a 22. Bad Habit was next with some great reversal jumps scoring a 20 followed by Shock Therapy with a 19. Brutus another fan favorite came up short in his run scoring an 18 edging out Excaliber by one point who scored a 17. Spike who was the first to go in freestyle set the bar high with his run of a 15 as Rap Attack was unable to freestyle with mechanical problems.
The Power rankings could switch again with the great performances from Grave Digger, Tazmanian Devil and Shock Therapy but there is still two more shows for the weekend. See you tonight!
Saturday 7:30 P.M.Unbelievable is all I can say about tonight's action. For the first time at an Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam the fans in Cleveland were involved in a true Monster Jam Wedding. Yes, a Wedding. Tom and Brenda Marshall exchanged vows in front of 3,000 fans at the start of tonights competition. The wedding party along with ring bearer and flower girl helped the couple tie the not a year after Tom proposed to Brenda at last years Monster Jam.
The night didn't stop there. Tazmanian Devil wowed the fans with a spectacular Racing victory over Spike in the Finals. And Spike made it to the Finals with a Photo finish over Grave Digger in the Semi Finals. It was one of his biggest wins of the year. Shock Therapy also had a great Freestyle and wheelie to finish third in both events.
Raciing round one saw Tazmanian devil defeat Shock Therapy. Brutus took out Excaliber. Grave Digger defeated Bad Habit and Spike beat Rap Attack. In the Semi Finals Tazmanian Devil defeated Brutus and Spike Defeated Grave Digger. In the Finals Tazmanian Devil took out Spike. Here are the rest of tonight's results.

Sunday 2:00 P.M. Another packed house was on hand for some close Racing and awesome Freestyle competitions. The day started off with the Wheelie contest as Grave Digger out scored everyone for the first win of the day with a 27. Tazmanian Devil again finished second for her third time in this contest with a score of 24. Rap Attack and Brutus tied for third with a 22 as Spike was next with a 21. Bad Habit and Shock Therapy also tied with scores of 20. Excaliber rounded out the field with a 19.
Racing was tight and there were three photo finishes before it was all over. Shock Therapy met Brutus in the Finals as Shock Therapy won by inches for the trophy. Brutus made ot to the Finals with a photo finish over Grave Digger in the Semi Finals match up as well as Shock Therapy winning his Semi Finals match over Tazmanian Devil.
Freestyle was again on the edge as Grave Digger swept the weekend as Freestyle king. Carl Van Horn scored a 22 for the win. Brutus also was on fire today scoring a 24 for second place tied with Bad Habit who had a great save that left the crowd on their feet. Tamanian Devil, a crowd favorite was next with a 22 followed by Shock Therapy who broke early with a score of 16. Spike and Excaliber both took a score of 13 as Rap Attack rounded out the field with a 12.
Next Year's Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam is already scheduled for February 25 and 26 of 2012. We will see you next year.
