Trenton was witness to a three VERY significant firsts….. I’ll get to that in a minute!!

It has been more than a decade since Monster Jam has been in Trenton!! WOW what a great crowd!!

Now, for the first….. FIRST for Trenton…… It was one of the FIRST stops on the Path of destruction on our road to Las Vegas March 24th and 25th.

The second First for Trenton….. The Brand New Grave Digger truck was unveiled right here in Trenton. It had literally never hit even one car. Not one scratch on that truck. All black and green and ready to go!!

On to racing……… All the trucks were ready to race and they were awesome. It all came down to the Veteran versus the Rookie. After the first rounds were complete, there were two left….. Carl Van Horn in Grave Digger and Nicole Johnson in Tasmanian Devil.

The THIRD FIRST for Trenton…… This is the FIRST time in Monster Jam history that A female Rookie has won racing on her very first outing….. Now that’s historical!! Congratulations to Nicole!

Trenton was rockin Saturday Afternoon with All the Monsters ready to go!!

It has been more than a decade since Monster Jam has been in Trenton!! The Saturday afternoon crowd battled snow and challenging weather to help us kick off the path of destruction on the road to Las Vegas and The World Finals March 25th and 26th.

Carl Van Horn Had Digger Flying!! He took the first of three victories this afternoon in Trenton!!

On to racing……… All the trucks were ready to race and they were awesome. The Slifkos’ were head to head in round one…… Andy and Jeremy were photo finish close but Backdraft took the victory. Andy and Eradicator although Andy is a competitor big time….if had to be out it’s not all bad to be out to his sone. A big hug in the pits and dad cheering on his son!!

The The UTI Championship round came down to Jeremy Slifko and Backdraft pitted against Carl Van Horn and Grave Digger!! It would be Grave Digger that made it two of three wins so far for the afternoon and of course Carl and Digger were hoping for the Double Down win as well!!

Free Style did not disappoint! All the drivers were fired up and ready to warm things up a bit with free style!!

Grave Digger 26 Plus one bonus from the secret Judge

Jeremy Slifko and Back Draft and Carl Van Horn in Digger ended regulation in a tie at 26. Our secret Judge had to make the call to determine the ultimate winner of an incredible Free Style round!! Though it wasn’t as clean a victory as Carl would have liked…… it was a huge WIN for Digger, making it the perfect day For Carl and Digger

The Brand New Grave Digger truck was unveiled right here in Trenton. Digger was tweaked and fine tuned right out of the box!! It had literally never hit even one car. Not one scratch on that truck. All black and green and ready to go!! It would turn out to be a Digger day in Trenton !! Carl Van Horn and the Digger Team had the brand new truck dialed in and HOT for Monster Jam Trenton style!! It was a Saturday sweep as Carl Van Horn won EVERY event on Saturday here in Trenton. Let me put that into perspective. Carl won 6 events in a row and had two double downs all in one day!!! WOW!!!!!!

Carl Van Horn Had Digger Flying!! Let me say again 6 wins, 2 double downs, one day!!!!!!!!! A big hats off to Andy Slifko on an incredible wheelie run as well!!

On to racing……… All the trucks were ready to race and they were awesome. Every truck in the field was ready for Monster Jam racing and every round of racing was extremely close. It took video replays on nearly every round to sort out the hungry monsters! The UTI Championship round looked very familiar!! It pitted the veteran against the rookie like last night. Although Nicole Johnson had to do it the hard way by being the fast loser advancing all the way to the UTI Championship round she was there and Awesome!! Nicole and Tasmanian Devil would ultimately lose to Carl Van Horn and Grave Digger.

Free Style did not disappoint! All the drivers were fired up and ready to warm things up a bit with free style!!
