It was great to be back at Speedway 95 for the start to the Summer Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam tour. The rain held off and the fans filled into their seats for a wild night. Grave Digger may not have won anything tonight but the fans were shocked and amazed at the violent roll over Randy Brown suffered in freestyle. Randy came out ok but the black and green wrecking machine has seen better days. The great fans of Bangor were also treated to Maine's one of only two Monster Trucks in the state. Kyle Chandler and his Dominator truck quickly became a crowd favorite. Mike Vatters had a great night as he piloted Black Stallion to two victories for the night. The only other win went to Instigator for his tail gate dragging wheelie in the wheelie contest.

Friday 7:30 

Sold out standing room only was the biggest night that Speedway 95 has seen in a long time. The great fans of Bangor were treated to 18 Street Warrior trucks and five awesome Monster Trucks. Grave Digger was on his game tonight as he swept the field and took the Wheelie, Racing, and Freestyle wins.

Grave Digger wowed the judges in the wheelie contest by scoring a 28 for the win followed by last nights winner Instigator with a score of 25. Dominator was third with a 24 followed up by Iron Warrior with a 23 and Black Stallion with a score of 21.

Racing was close as Grave Digger edged out Instigator in the finals by a bumper. Digger made it to the finals with wins over Instigator in round one and Dominator in the Semi Finals. Instigator made his way to the finals as fast looser and defeating Black Stallion by inches in the semi finals. Black Stallion drew the number one card tonight and had a buy run in round one. Dominator also won his round one race against Iron Warrior.

Freestyle was awesome as the Black and Green Wrecking Machine showed the fans what freestyle is all about. Brown had the best air of the night and took the win with a score of 30. Instigator was second with a score of 26 as Easler had a great slap wheelie that went the distance of the front stretch. Kyle Chandler freestyled Dominator to third with some sick doughnuts and a score of 24. Black Stallion and Iron Warrior rounded out the field with solid scores of 24 and 17.

John Killinger drove his street Warrior to a second straight victory tonight as Steve Subjoc was second.

Saturday 2:00 

The Forecast did not look good this morning but as in the past the rain stopped for the Built Ford Tough Party in the Pits and held off for the 2:00 show. Even though it did not rain during these times, the over night rain made the track a muddy mess. The track was so sloppy it made it difficult for the Monsters and Street warriors to perform. The highlights of the day was Lionel Easler's wheelie as he stood his Instigator truck on the tailgate and the walked it across the cars erupting the crowd into a standing "O". Grave Digger's freestyle also had the fans on their feet as Randy brown had the sickest Cyclone in the standing mud and water that covered the whole truck to the point you couldn't tell that it said Grave Digger on the sides. Another impressive performance was by Kyle Chandler in his Dominator truck. Chandler was beaten by Digger in round one by inches and came back as fast looser only to get beaten again by a photo finish. Either race could have gone his way. Here are the results to today competitions.

RAIN, RAIN,GO AWAY! That was the chant from the die hard Monster Jam fans as they waited for the start of the final show of the weekend. The night finally got started when there was a window of no rain and the wheelie contest was under way. Mike Vatters got back on the winning side like he did Thursday night as he drove Black Stallion to his first wheelie win of the weekend.

Racing was close as the race lanes were nothing but mud. Each truck had a hard time leaving the line and the winner was the one who was able to beat the green light. The veteran Vatters was able to do this with his all Ford power and defeat any one who got in his way. Stallion beat Grave Digger in the finals to take the trophy and got there with wins over Iron Warrior in the semi finals and a bye run in round one. Grave Digger made his way to the finals with wins over Iron Warrior and Dominator. In other racing action Dominator defeated Instigator in his first round Battle.

Freestyle was slugish! Not only did the drivers have a hard time seeing out of the windshields but the trucks couldn't get much momentum to hit the obstacles with any force. Grave Digger was the only truck to get any real air off of the cars and van stack along with some cool donuts. That was enough to give him another freestyle win for the weekend.
