Monster Mutt® Dalmatian barked into Concord, NC today for the first ever Monster Mutt Block Party. Winners Lovella, Neil, and Chey were thrilled to have Monster Mutt Dalmatian and driver Candice Jolly in town to party Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® style!

Gary Porter and Candice Jolly rolled into Frank Liske Park to get the Monster Jam truck ready for the Monster Mutt Block Party, after some skillful navigation through the parks narrow streets. Weather forecast originally called for rain today, but it was a beautiful, sunny day that everyone was ready to enjoy.

Chey, in his modified Monster Mutt Dalmatian shirt, was speechless when he saw his block party set up.

Turning 4 years old in January, he is an Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam fan, attending past shows in Charlotte, NC at Time Warner Cable Arena. Lovella, Neil, and Chey were one of over 17,000 entrants and couldn't believe that they had won the Monster Mutt Block Party Contest. With friends and family attending the event, it was a day that all will remember for a long time to come.

Candice Jolly signed autographs and took photos with party-goers, excited to be part of the inaugural Monster Mutt Block Party. She spent time doling out driving advice to her newfound friends and telling stories about her son's future in racing. When the whole group got together to take photos, Candice's silly, trademark tongue-sticking-out photo was a memorable moment for all.

After all the pictures, it was time for food and fun! With a tasty spread of food from Shane's Rib Shack, everyone enjoyed the shade and BBQ. After everyone enjoyed their meals, kids and adults alike were seen completing the Monster Mutt Dalmatian activity pages and other Monster Jam themed events. Wrapping up the day with an impromptu magic show and breaking open the Grave Digger® piñata supplied by Birthday Express, the day was winding to an end.

By and large, the event was a huge success. Winner, Lovella Paradiso, said that the Monster Mutt Block Party "could not have been more perfect," before heading home with Neil and Chey.
