Monster Jam: In your eyes how has the 2012 Advance Auto
Parts Monster Jam® season been so far?
Tom Meents: The
season has been going great! The Maximum
Destruction® team has been doing amazing and picking up wins wherever we
go. Neil Elliott and Kreg Christensen
have been doing an outstanding job for us and bringing home victories for team
What is it going to take to get your 10th
Monster Jam World FinalsSM Championship?
Tom Meents: It’s going to take a flawless performance
by the crew, the truck, and myself. I
don’t plan on changing anything up from last year’s Monster Jam World
Finals. If we get everyone pulling in
the same direction I don’t see anyone being able to stop us.
What can fans expect from Maximum Destruction
at the Monster Jam World Finals?
Fans can expect to see Maximum Destruction
going faster and harder than they have ever seen before. We really want to win racing again this year
but that’s not counting out freestyle because we are hungry for that trophy
too. Plan on seeing 100% from Maximum
Destruction in both the racing and freestyle competitions!
What is your most memorable experience in the
2012 Monster Jam season?
Tom Meents: I
feel as a whole, the emergence of team Maximum Destruction and being such heavy
hitters has been the most memorable experience so far. In every event this season Neil, Kreg and
myself have been pushing it to the limit and we have been producing wins. One event for me that stands out is my return
to St. Louis where I had a stellar freestyle performance.
What is some advice for the new Monster Jam
fans to the Monster Jam World Finals?
Tom Meents: You
absolutely have to get on board with the Double Down. Not only do you get to see me qualify on
Friday night you will get a chance meet me one-on-one at the party in the
pits. Also, this year we are having the
Young Guns Shootout that you will be able to watch. It will be one action packed Monster Jam
World Finals this year!
