Jul 11, 2011

Recently Brian Deegan spent some time in North Carolina at Digger’s Dungeon. While he was there, he had the chance to test drive a monster truck. We wanted to follow up with him to see what he thought and what’s going on in the world of Brian Deegan and Metal Mulisha.

5 Questions with Brian Deegan

MonsterJam.com: We understand this was your second monster truck driving experience, tell us about it…
Deegan: I had a great time driving the monster truck at the test facility. It was a lot crazier than I thought. I have a new respect for those guys.

MonsterJam.com: How does driving a monster truck differ from your other professional driving experiences?
Deegan: Driving a monster truck is different from racing trucks and dirt bikes because you’re launching a 10,000 pound truck 30 feet straight up!

MonsterJam.com: You now have a Metal Mulisha monster truck toy in the Hot Wheels Monster Jam toy line, how did that come about?
Deegan: I’m excited about having a Metal Mulisha monster truck Hot Wheels toy and who knows, the real deal could be coming soon!

MonsterJam.com: Does this mean that you are interested in having a Metal Mulisha monster truck some day to compete at Monster Jam?
Deegan: I would be stoked on having my own Metal Mulisha monster truck actually competing in Monster Jam events; launching it in the air and smashing cars with Metal Mulisha fans coming to cheer me on!

MonsterJam.com: Whoa!  That would be so cool. Will you keep us posted?
Deegan: I will keep you posted on my mission if it takes me to Monster Jam!
