As we move toward autumn of 2013 the Monster Jam® calendar is ready to turn from an exciting summer with a great variety of thrilling events all across North America to an ambitious run of competitions that will take the sport all over the globe with the Monster Jam World Tour ready to return to some of its most popular overseas venues while the expansion of Monster Jam internationally is set to debut in new countries and facilities as well.

Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® action has been incredible all year and that includes the on-the-track performances at a wide range of venues following the crowning of Monster Jam World FinalsSM Racing Champion Adam Anderson and Grave Digger The Legend® along with World FinalsSM Freestyle Champion Tom Meents in Max-DSM at Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam World FinalsSM XIV presented by NGK Spark Plugs last March in Las Vegas, NV. From there the spring and summer months have seen fans flocking to great race tracks, arenas, and stadiums allowing fans all over the US and Canada more opportunities to experience the one of a kind thrills that Monster Jam provides. Now those same thrills will be on display thousands of miles from the shores of the United States with the anticipation already building in several countries.

Starting next month where the September calendar finds Monster Jam trucks in route south of the border into Mexico while a separate fleet heads across the Atlantic Ocean into Europe. Up first as the Monster Jam World Tour heats up are dates in Mexico, starting in Monterrey at Arena Monterrey September 20th through the 22nd, then on to Mexico City as the action roars into Arena Ciudad de Mexico the following weekend.

Also at the end of September it’s the return of arguably the most successful and popular annual event held outside of the US with Monster Jam back in Arnhem, Holland, ready to again pack tens of thousands of fans into the Gelredome on September 28th and 29th. Drivers and fans alike have used terms like the “European World Finals” to describe the yearly trek to the beautiful town about an hour’s drive from Amsterdam. A series of factors have combined each year to make the Gelredome experience so special, including incredible line-ups of Monster Jam trucks that have competed there annually, the state-of-the-art facility itself, and the amazing support and passion of the Dutch fans. This next installment of Monster Jam in The Netherlands is sure to create even more lasting memories for the sport’s large and growing European fan base.

Moving into October Monster Jam trucks will travel further from their American home than ever before, taking the ultimate crowd pleasing, family friendly event to Australia for the first time. The tickets are already selling at a blistering pace for the debut of Monster Jam in Sydney, Australia, at ANZ Stadium on October 19th. This ground breaking spectacle continues to get bigger and bigger as the anticipation from the fans “down under” and the competitors themselves is already at a fever pitch. With the recent news that both Grave Digger The Legend and Son-uva Digger® have been added to the line-up for Sydney, the Australian fans will be treated to performances from a fantastic line-up of Monster Jam World Finals superstars and you know that every one of them is looking forward to spending their time with so many new fans, and every single one of them will be going all out on the track as each and every competitor there wants to be the first Monster Jam star ever to win the racing bracket and/or the freestyle competition in Australia.

As incredible as the debut in Australia is sure to be the Monster Jam World Tour has even more planned. In November it is back to Europe, first in Helsinki, Finland, with the action back in one of the first venues ever to host Monster Jam outside of the United States, Hartwall Arena. The following week the Swedish fans get to cheer on their heroes live in a new facility, the spacious Friends Arena in Stockholm. Since Monster Jam first ventured into Europe the country of Sweden has hosted more Monster Jam events than any other so it will be awesome to not only be back in front of those loyal Swedish fans, it will be just as exciting to see the competition in another new facility for the first time.

When you consider the scope of the Monster Jam World Tour expansion the sport is truly a worldwide phenomenon now and while so much attention will be paid to these forays into faraway lands from Monster Jam’s birthplace, the North American calendar is not complete for 2013 yet either. The Maple Leaf Monster Jam Tour has one more 2013 competition coming up with the second straight year of action in the famous Calgary Stampede Grandstands. Then another great American stock car track joins the schedule for the first time as Monster Jam debuts at the home of the legendary Knoxville Nationals in Iowa next month. Monster Jam is also returning to Philadelphia in October, Hampton, VA, in November and of course the tradition rich stop in Minneapolis this December before we launch the 2014 schedule.

Monster Jam thrills are headed all across the globe as we keep turning the calendar on the remainder of 2013 and even if a trip to, say, Sydney is not on your itinerary Monster Jam fans will be able to keep up with all the results and excitement here at MonsterJam.com and through all of the sport’s social media platforms including the new Monster Jam APP for smart phones. 2013 has seen some of the greatest action ever to this point and the best part is that there is so much more to come this year.
