Once again Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® is bringing popular stadium size thrills to tens of thousands of fans along the East Coast with the return of the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Path of DestructionSM to Baltimore’s M & T Bank Stadium on June 8th followed by the sport’s return to Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on June 15th and once again the excitement leading up to these mega events for fans and competitors like is at a fever pitch.

This will be the third annual trip for Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam to the state-of-the-art home of the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, and the second straight appearance in the nation’s largest market on the massive floor of the home to both the National Football League Giants and Jets in suburban New York City. The fans in the populous corridor from Baltimore to New York are once again buzzing about the return of the Path of Destruction, the opportunity for fans all over the northeast to see the epic racing and freestyle competition stadium style close to home. Before the Path of Destruction was created it was common to meet fans at major stadium events in places like Atlanta, Detroit, St. Louis, Indianapolis, and across Florida who had travelled from the northeast to experience the large floor action live since there were not any stadium events held in that part of the country.

Open air stadiums aren’t conducive to Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam in that region during the busy first quarter of the year  but with the amazing growth the sport continues to see the decision to create the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Path of Destruction, expanding large stadium events into the spring and summer months, not only brings the big floor action to a new part of the country it allows the sport to take its biggest stars, most sensational machines, as well as those loyal fans into some of the country’s largest media markets bringing Monster Jam to both the major market and national media, giving the sport exposure that before the Path of Destruction was extremely tough to come by. Now the phenomenon of Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam is front and center in terms of exposure as it has been with the huge fans base for years and years. Last year, for example, the popular Fox and Friends program on the top rated Fox News Channel had several segments on air live from the New York City area stop on the Monster Jam Path of Destruction, and there is a great possibility that even more of that important national coverage will great this year’s trek along the “Path”.

This is the second annual Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam event in Baltimore’s M & T Bank Stadium. The debut in this venue occurred on July 9, 2011 when Linsey Weenk and Lucas Oil Crusader®. Weenk defeated Adam Anderson and Grave Digger The Legend® in that 2011 Championship Round Race, and Tom Meents and Max-DSM claimed the first ever M & T Bank Stadium Freestyle Championship. Meents won a close competition in part due to a twisting sky wheelie with huge air, something most of agreed we had never seen before. Last year’s Championship hardware in Baltimore headed south to Kill Devil Hills, NC, after Dennis Anderson drove Grave Digger® to both the racing and freestyle victories to claim the Double Down there.

As for the Big Apple, this is the second straight year that the sport competes in spacious Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Path of Destruction tour. The debut of stadium competition in the New York City market a year ago saw Adam Anderson and Grave Digger the Legend come out on top of the Monster Jam World Finals caliber field to take the racing championship. That victory proved to be a forerunner of greatest to come on the race track as Grave Digger the Legend now reigns as the Monster Jam World Finals Racing Champion. The first ever freestyle championship in Met Life Stadium was claimed by the Max-D team with Neil Elliott behind the wheel of the team now celebrating their 10th anniversary.

So here we go on another incredible run to the northeast in major market stadiums just a month removed from the historic debut of Monster Jam in the Middle East at Zayed City Sports Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The action will continue to be amazing, the fan turnout will be huge, and all the highlights are at your fingertips here at MonsterJam.com and on the free Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam smart phone App.
