The busy first quarter of 2013, packed with incredible, crowd-pleasing action all over North America is in the books, culminated by the amazing performances turned in at Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam World FinalsSM XIV presented by NGK Spark Plugs last month. Now, following the crowning of new World Racing Champion Adam Anderson and Grave Digger the Legend® and World Freestyle Champion Tom Meents and Max-DSM, Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® thrills roar into the spring and summer months where fans all over the world will be enjoying some events with rich Monster Jam histories as well as some exciting new cities being added as the sport’s global growth continues.

April has already been busy for some teams with the Advance Auto Parts GrinderSM team shining brightly. John Seasock dominated the weekend for the Advance Auto Parts team in Cincinnati on the same weekend that Lupe Soza (in Laredo) and Frank Krmel (Green Bay) also turned in strong weekends to start April impressively for “The People’s Truck”. It will be Krmel powering the red and yellow colors this coming weekend for the annual Monster Jam Summer Heat series of events in Ocala, Florida, at Bubba Raceway Park. The month will be closing with both the Bismarck, ND, Civic Center and the i wireless Center in Moline, IL, hosting stacked line-ups of Monster Jam superstars ready to provide even more excitement to fans in those areas.

Then when the calendar flips over to May another huge step forward in Monster Jam’s international expansion arrives with a sensational roster of Monster Jam trucks and drivers competing for the first time in the United Arab Emirates as Monster Jam rocks Zayed City Sports stadium in Abu Dhabi, the sport’s first ever event in the Middle East. The new fans in the UAE will be treated to racing and freestyle from an absolutely incredible line-up, led by 11-time World Champion Meents in Max-D. Team Grave Digger® will be on the track into Abu Dhabi with Carl Van Horn, one of the winningest drivers in the sport this year, representing for the black and green team. Veterans Dan Evans in Blue Thunder® and Chad Fortune in Captain America bring plenty of experience to a roster balanced by several impressive young guns.

This new Monster Jam venue will also see action from the reigning Rookie of the Year, Dustin Brown who will pilot the Monster Mutt® Rottweiler in the UAE, along with 2012 Young Guns ShootoutSM Champion Bari Musawwir in Spider-ManTM, 2013 Young Guns Shootout runner-up Morgan Kane in Iron ManTM, and another veteran of the Monster Jam World Finals Young Guns Shootout, Becky McDonough in El Toro Loco®. Appropriately Monster Jam is bringing its best to this amazing new opportunity to thrill fans in a part of the world that will be able to catch the action live for the first time.

On the horizon the summer of 2013 schedule will again feature locales where the sport’s tradition dates back more than two decades like West Lebanon, NY. Tickets are selling now and the excitement is building as well for the Path of Destruction extravaganzas returning to M & T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on June 8th followed by the Monster Jam return to the New York City market in East Rutherford, New Jersey’s huge MetLife Stadium on June 15th. Fans can get tickets and make plans for those Monster Jam vacation destinations right now on the main page of monsterjam.com and by checking out the free Monster Jam AP. Last year’s Monster Jam Path of Destruction not only brought out thousands of fans from those major east coast markets to enjoy the big time thrills of stadium racing and freestyle but it was amazing to see how many families travelled hours to see these true spectacles live. Believe me, the Monster Jam Path of Destruction is a perfect way to schedule a memorable summer vacation for the sport’s biggest fans.

So here we go again. As amazing as the action in Monster Jam has been already this year, there are plenty more Monster Jam thrills coming your way, all over the world, throughout the rest of 2013.
