| The
Shocker Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® truck is the creation of
owner/driver Pat Gerber from Bakersfield, California. Gerber’s father got him
started in motorsports when he raced mud trucks. Then as Monster Jam continued
to rise in popularity, the family began to build monsters in their off-road
repair and performance shop. After building machines for other people, the
Gerber family decided to build one for themselves and begin campaigning it.
They created their own style of truck and Shocker was born. To this day, Gerber
still competes with his Shocker, which has the original chassis that he and his
father built back in 1992. |
