| Long-time
competitor Andy Hoffman first got the opportunity to drive a 10,000-pound
monster machine in the mid-1990s when owner/driver Kirk Dabney put Hoffman in
the cockpit of one of his trucks. Less than a year later, Hoffman purchased his
first truck from Dabney, and he has been competing with the Nitemare name on
the side of the truck ever since. The former tractor puller became a top
performer for years at Thunder Nationals events. Hoffman continues to run in
Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® events and Thunder Nationals events
throughout the year. Hoffman credits Monster Jam World Finals SM veterans
Charlie Pauken and Mike Vaters, in addition to Dabney, for helping him to transition
from his pulling career to making the Nitemare a monster reality. |
