TRUCK HISTORY
Debuting at Atlanta’s Georgia Dome on January 9, 2010, the Iron Man™ monster truck launched as part of the promotion of the Iron Man 2 Movie. This unique design was inspired by Stark Industries and the Iron Man franchise. The truck is equipped with a 1,500 horsepower supercharged 540 Merlin engine atop 6’ tall, 1,700 pound tires. Behind the wheel of this car-crushing machine is Monster Jam® veteran, Lee O’Donnell and new-comer Scott Buetow. O’Donnell has been a part of the Monster Jam family for years and has driven some of the most recognizable trucks on the circuit including Monster Mutt® and Blue Thunder®. Scott Buetow is a Monster Jam rookie for the 2011 season and has a long history of being involved in motorsports. In March 2010, the Iron Man monster truck made it’s first appearance at the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam World Finals. The truck lost to King Krunch® in the 1 st round in the racing competition and placed 9th in freestyle with a score of 25. Iron Man held it’s own in it’s first year and won the hearts of Monster Jam’s most loyal fans. Don’t miss Lee O’Donnell and Scott Buetow in the Iron Man monster truck as it crushes the competition in a city near you.
