of several Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam® trucks based in
Hagerstown, Maryland, Hurricane Force competes as a teammate to Tim Mente’s
Storm Damage. As a matter of fact, Hurricane Force was the original Storm
Damage. In 2012, the team built a new Storm Damage, converting the existing
truck to Hurricane Force. Hurricane Force driver Steve Thompson started out in
the sport working on the Black Stallion crew and then eventually became a part-time
driver for Mike Vaters’ team in Hagerstown. Thompson then joined Mente’s team
and became the driver of Hurricane Force once the team added the new Storm
Damage to their operation. |
