Jones’ lifelong participation in motorsports went through a series of
evolutions, from go-karts during his youth to truck and tractor pulling, on to
pro stadium and arena truck racing, then Jones and his father decided to enter
the exciting world of Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam®. After a
decade of competition in the stadium and arena truck circuits, Jones and his
father built the Barbarian, which came into Monster Jam competition in 2009.
The Barbarian’s high level of performance is not only a testament to Jones
driving talent but also to the team’s mechanical expertise. Jones is a mechanic
by trade, so along with fixing customers vehicles, he spends hours in the shop
getting Barbarian ready for that next Monster Jam competition. |
