Driving the
ReadyLift Suspension Bad Habit truck in Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam action
is a natural extension of a lifelong love of motorsports for Joe Sylvester. His
passion for anything with a motor started back when he was about 5 years old.
Growing up around his family's construction company, Sylvester was always
fascinated with heavy machinery, dirt bikes, and of course, monster trucks.
Always an adrenaline junky, he participated in every type of motor sport he
could throughout his teen years from motocross to drag racing to go-karts. But
his passion was always monster trucks and every truck he owned was lifted. In
2005, Sylvester worked around the professional monster truck industry and at
the beginning of 2006 he decided to put together his own professional monster
truck team. Sylvester became the youngest independent professional monster
truck driver and team owner in the country. After competing all over the
country and abroad for 2 years, with the help of Boardman Steel, Sylvester
decided to build a brand new truck for the 2009 season.
