Long time veteran driver Dave Rappach has competed in Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam for more than two decades with his popular Rap Attack monster truck. The Midwesterner has been one of the most successful performers in Thunder Nationals competition as well as bringing Rap Attack to major stadium events on the circuit.  

Q&A with Dave Rappach:  

MonsterJam.com: How did you get started competing on the Monster Jam circuit? 

Dave Rappach:   I was doing exhibitions with Tough Trucks. They were Chevy vs. Ford contest and we did donuts, tug-o-wars, and more. 

MonsterJam.com: What do you enjoy doing while on the road with Monster Jam? 

Dave Rappach:  Interacting with the fans! 

MonsterJam.com:  What do you do with your free time? 

Dave Rappach: I own an excavating business as well, so that’s where I spend time when I’m not in my truck. 

MonsterJam.com: What is your greatest memory as a monster truck driver? 

Dave Rappach: There are many great memories so it’s too hard to choose just one. 

MonsterJam.com: Do you have any pre-show rituals that you run though? 

Dave Rappach:   No. 

MonsterJam.com:  If you were not competing on the Monster Jam tour, what career path would you follow?  

Dave Rappach: It would be in the construction business. 

MonsterJam.com: What’s your favorite food? 

Dave Rappach: Pizza and Spaghetti.

Dave Rappach:  Days of Thunder.

Dave Rappach:  None really but I do like comedies.
