Growing up in one of America’s hot beds for racing,
Bryan Wright was raised in Grandy, North Carolina, and developed a love for
motorsports. He raced quads for five years, winning the 2005 and 2006 ATVA
Championships. Away from monster trucks Wright’s trade is land development
where he owns a grading and clearing business. Wright got his entry into
Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam by starting out as a crew member for Grave
Digger driver Chad Tingler and says that he realized right away that he had
found something that he truly loved and had a passion for. From there Wright
says it was about meeting the right people and he was introduced to monster
truck owner/driver Steve Sims. Sims was able to get Wright to join his growing
team where he became a crew member for Stone Crusher and Monster Magic. When
Sims adjusted his driver roster and put Monster Magic driver Morgan Kane in the
second Stone Crusher, Sims then offered Wright the driving position for Monster
Magic starting in the 2012 season, and Wright quickly accepted the exciting new
assignment.
